It was a very tough moment on Indian Idol 3 when one of the most talented candidate Emon Chatterjee was voted out. We caught up with a very emotional Emon, who even managed to bring a tough judge like Annu Malek to tears.

What went wrong?
I really don't know. I think I sang quite well in the last few gala rounds and was praised by all the judges. I was expecting my elimination as it's a reality show and there can only be one winner.

Future plans?
I've not decided anything but will pursue my career in singing. This is surely not an end, but a fresh start. You may see me doing some live shows across the country. I'm also planning to release my album.

Who do you think should win and why?
It should be Amit Paul as he's a versatile singer.

After coming this far, what do you think it takes to be an Indian Idol ?
He should have a good knowledge of rhythm and an ability to sing all sorts of songs. In short, he should be an all-rounder.

Your favorite judge…
None other than Annu Malek. His suggestions may seem too harsh at times but he does help you understand your weaknesses.

Message for final two contestants...
Keep going guys. Give your 100 per cent and leave the rest to god. Prove it to the junta that you're not only good but even very flawless singers.
